The talented ensemble singers are music majors who study at Rhode Island College. Meet the gifted young soloists (below) who are featured on the recording.
Beth Conway
A senior at Stonehill College in Easton, MA, Beth's soulful and sonorous vocal sound rivals any gospel singer in the music world. She is a cantor and member of the Stonehill Chapel choir and sings with Stonehill's Girls From the Hill.
Micah Christian
A graduate of Stonehill College and a recent graduate of Boston University Divinity School, Micah's emotional and beautiful tenor voice inspires and moves hearts. He is a former member of Hyannis Sound.
Martha Gannon
A music and vocal major at Rhode Island College, Martha's unique and lyrical voice integrates many genres of vocal performance including opera, jazz, musical theater and inspirational music.
Meet the producer of Tell Them About Me
Ron Gamache, musician/composer/producer
Ron began playing coffeehouses, colleges and clubs in Boston and around New England in the 1970s while he was still in college. After graduation he continued playing professionally as a solo artist, and performing or recording with such notables as Dave McKenna, Alan Dawson (Marianne McPartland/Dave Brubeck), Dick Johnson (Artie Shaw Band), John Harrison (Tavares, Rebecca Parris) and Jackie Santos (Beaver Brown Band).Ron has been a producer, engineer, studio musician and recording studio owner (Normandy Sound, in Warren, RI). He is accomplished on acoustic and electric guitars, bass and keyboards. Ron has produced recordings several record companies including for the Concord Jazz label.Ron's original music includes lyric and instrumental songs ranging from string ensemble, Latin, pop and jazz ballads, to modern country and fusion. He has composed for dozens of commercials, Lifetime Channel®, Melissa Etheridge’s “Beyond Chance,” corporate videos and numerous documentaries for Visionaries.org which have appeared on PBS.
